CROSSFIT

Our Polar CrossFit classes in Livonia, MI are motivational, supportive, and most of all fun! Every class is led by a coach who will walk you through the warm-up, a strength or skill session, and the workout of the day (the WOD). CrossFit group classes are great because you don’t have to figure out what you are going to do when you walk into the gym that day. We handle that for you! Each day is different, focusing on helping you to meet your goals.

Movements are infinitely scalable, which means that we can modify any movement to your skill and fitness level. Can’t do a push-up? Don’t worry! We can help you find an appropriate movement to replace it. Not ready for pull-ups? That’s okay! We can replace that movement with something else. We are here to help you succeed!

BARBELL CLUB

The Barbell Club at Bear Athletics is designed to teach the fundamentals of weightlifting in a fun, inclusive environment. We will dive deep into the two Olympic lifts: the snatch and the clean and jerk, and supplement our programming with additional strength work. Whether you are new to weightlifting or are an advanced athlete and just want more time on the barbell, this class is for you!

All skill and fitness levels are welcome.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal training at Bear Athletics is designed to help you reach your fitness and health goals in a one-on-one or small group environment. We can custom tailor a program specific to your needs and fitness pursuits. Whether you are looking to lose body fat, gain muscle, or are just not ready for group classes and want to achieve a higher level of functional fitness, we are here for you.

One of our coaches will meet with you to assess where you are at currently and where you want to get to and create a plan that is right for you. We can also offer nutritional support through the assistance of a registered dietician to help you achieve optimal health. We offer packages of one, ten, or 25 sessions in 30-minute and one-hour increments depending on your goals, time, and budget.
